Adult Group Programs

Group Tours

Group tours and discounts are available. Please call (860) 236-5621 x232 or email education_assistant@chs.org for additional information. Please note that advanced reservations are required for group tours. Guided tours generally last 45-60 minutes and accommodate 20 people. Self-guided options are also available.

Discounted group fees (with advance reservations) are:

$5 for Adults
$3 for Seniors
$3 for College Students with ID

Choose from the following:

• General Introductory Tour
• Tavern and Inn Signs from the CHS Collection
• Connecticut Needlework: Women, Art, and Family, 1740-1840 (October 5, 2010-March 26, 2011)
• Making Connecticut (opens December 10, 2010)
  

Specialty tours are also available. Please contact us for more information and prices.

Group Presentations

The Connecticut Historical Society offers 45-60 minute presentations to adult groups in Connecticut, including social clubs, senior centers, libraries, and local historical societies.  All presentations are accompanied by slides.  

Prices (mileage included) are:

$50 per presentation within 20 miles of Hartford
$100 per presentation more than 20 miles from Hartford
