Summer Teen Enrichment Program
The Teen Enrichment Program brings together 10-12 high school students for a 4-week summer program. Participants pursue their interests in history while developing important life- and work-skills, such as teamwork, communication, public speaking, responsibility, and self-confidence. Students will:
- Go behind-the-scenes in the museum
- Learn from local historians and museum staff
- Visit and analyze exhibits
- Explore original historical materials
- Work one-on-one with museum and library professionals
- Take field trips to other museums and historic sites
- Work on a culminating group activity to share with the public
Eligibility: Students entering grades 10-12 in fall 2011
Dates: Mondays-Thursdays, July 5 (Tuesday) - July 28, 2011
Time: 9am-3pm
