Guided tours of our current exhibits about the Civil Rights movement: Freedom Journey 1965: Photographs of the Selma to Montgomery March by Stephen Somerstein and Connecticut Freedom Workers: Remembering the Civil Rights Movement will be available beginning in June.

Tours are approximately 45 minutes and are led by museum staff. 

Tours are limited to no more than 15 guests to allow for social distancing, and to encourage conversation and a more personalized experience.

Tours are offered three times each week (pre-registration is strongly recommended. Walk-in guests are not guaranteed spots on the tour). 

Tour times: Beginning in June, Tuesdays and Fridays at 2pm, and Saturdays at 11am.

Tours are free with museum admission

Family Exhibit Tours: Dressing Up the Past

Special family tours of Making Connecticut followed by a related craft will be available beginning in June. Through close-looking and hands-on activities, explore how clothing was made and how fashion has changed throughout history.

Tours are limited to no more than 15 guests to allow for social distancing, and to encourage conversation and a more personalized experience.

Tours are offered on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10am (pre-registration is strongly recommended. Walk-in guests are not guaranteed spots on the tour).
