Hepburn Exhibition Coming This Spring

December 20, 2013 · Exhibits ·

Just last week, we signed a contract with the Kent State University Museum to bring the blockbuster traveling exhibition Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen to Connecticut in April 2014 for…

Katharine Hepburn – Still an Inspiration!

February 21, 2014 · Exhibits ·

As I sit in my office writing this post, I look out my window that faces Elizabeth Street, and see a very cold and dreary scene. Not to mention the icicles, some taller than I am, hanging from the roof!

Katharine Hepburn: Rebellious and Sporty

April 18, 2014 · Collections, Exhibits ·

Over the past couple of weeks while preparing for the opening of Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen, I’ve been thinking a lot about Katharine Hepburn. Have we had enough posts yet about Katharine Hepburn and her pants? I’ll let you decide, and to be precise for you Hepburn fans, they’re slacks, not pants. SLACKS. Everything Kate

May 7, 2014 · Collections ·

I thought I would “jump on the Kate bandwagon”, as it were, for this week’s post. We actually do have in the collection some letters written by the stage and screen star. Hepburn: So Good It’s Scary

June 6, 2014 · Exhibits ·

Only the greatest actors can inhabit a character so fully that you forget who’s who. Daniel Day-Lewis is not Daniel Day-Lewis. He IS Abraham Lincoln. He IS Hawkeye.
