Disfrute de las imágenes y sonidos del Día de Muertos, con actividades para todas las edades, música de mariachi en vivo, y bailes del folclor mexicano.
Ofrendas, or small altars that honor and celebrate those who have passed away, will be open to visit all day. Bring your own photographs of your muertos or deceased relatives, small mementos, or messages to contribute to our community ofrenda. Note: Photos and objects will become part of the ofrenda and will not be returned. Please do not bring anything precious or irreplaceable.
Las ofrendas, o altares pequeños que honran y celebran a los que han fallecido, estarán en exposición todo el día. Traiga copias de fotografías de sus parientes fallecidos, pequeños recuerdos, mensajes, etc., para contribuirlas a nuestra ofrenda comunitaria. Nota: las fotografías y objetos formarán parte de esta oferta y no serán devueltos. Por favor no traiga nada precioso o irremplazable.

LOCAL OFRENDA DISPLAY/ EXPOSICION DE OFRENDAS LOCALES Artists, organizations, students, and members of the public are welcome to create an ofrenda to be on display from October 28 – November 6. Space is limited, so apply online HERE by October 16th, or call 860-236-5621 x251 for more information and guidelines.

The Connecticut Museum has free parking in our two parking lots, with entries from Asylum Avenue and Elizabeth Street. We will reserve several spots for accessible parking near the entrance off Elizabeth Street.
On October 28, we will have additional free parking located at the University of Connecticut School of Law (entry at 55 Elizabeth Street) and Hartford International University for Religion and Peace (lot located behind the old Connecticut Attorney General building at 110 Sherman Street).
