Join us for a deep dive into one of our new exhibits, “Fighting on the Home Front: Propaganda Posters of WWII,” on loan from the Detroit Historical Society. We’ll take a close look at a few of our favorite posters from the exhibit, as well as some items from our own collection, and talk about all the ways that the US government used posters to persuade (and even shame) Americans into growing food, rationing fuel, buying war bonds, and taking war jobs.
This program is free and spaces are limited. To secure a spot, register with Yapsody. You’ll receive an email confirmation and receipt with the link to the Zoom meeting. At noon of the day of the program, you’ll get a reminder email from CMCH with the link as well. Please do not share that link with anyone! It’s unique to you.
