Visit the CHS for a special tour of Making Connecticut followed by a related craft! Through close-looking and hands-on activities, explore how clothing was made and how fashion has changed throughout history. You will have the opportunity to card wool, “work” in a textile factory, and more!
We are excited to offer FREE admission to Connecticut children under 18 and an accompanying adult thanks to Connecticut Summer at the Museum. Each tour is limited to 20 people. Families are encouraged to stay and continue to explore the exhibits after the tour and craft have ended. For more information, please contact Katerina Mazzacane, Youth and Family Programs Manager, at 860-236-5621 x222, or email email@example.com.
Connecticut Summer at the Museum is made possible through an investment from the federal COVID-19 recovery funding Connecticut is receiving from the American Rescue Plan Act. This program is administered by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development’s Office of the Arts in partnership with Connecticut Humanities.
