Family Program: Create Art, Create History

April 6, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Calling all artists! All ages and artistic abilities are welcome to join us for Free First Saturday. Create your own original masterpiece! We’ll use the work of Hartford-born African American painter Charles Ethan Porter as inspiration.

After creating your art, visit the Black Citizenship in the Age of Jim Crow exhibit, which explores the African American struggle for equality after the Civil War.

This program is free and great for children of all ages. For more information, call (860) 236-5621 x222 or email [email protected].

Thanks to Berkshire Bank for support of this program.
