Join us for the first family program of our new exhibit, Facing War: Connecticut in World War I. Discover how Connecticut children grew “victory gardens” in their backyards as a way to contribute to the war effort from home. Decorate a mason jar and plant a vegetable to take home! This event will also kick off our CHS Victory Garden, so check out our backyard garden and learn more about this exciting summer program!
This drop-in program is free and open to the public, and great for children ages 4 and up. For more information, please contact Corinne Swanson at (860) 236-5621 x222 or email email@example.com. Thanks to Berkshire Bank for their support of this program.
