Homeschool Day Workshop: Changing Roles

October 21, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

How did WWII affect the lives of women and African Americans working on the homefront? Explore some of the ways they were encouraged to join the war effort by analyzing WWII propaganda posters from the Detroit Historical Society’s and the National WWII Museum’s collections. During a live, virtual workshop, listen to WWII-era oral histories to learn about the experiences of people on the homefront.

This workshop is designed for children ages 12+. Click here for more information and to register. Enrollment is limited and families must pre-register. Full, non-refundable payment via credit card or check must be made at the time of registration to reserve your child’s place.
