Homeschool Day Workshop: Innovative Industry

April 28, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 am

Investigate life during the Industrial Revolution! Through close-looking at a variety of primary sources, uncover first-hand accounts of life as a factory worker and the issues surrounding child labor. Then, tune into a live, virtual workshop to take a special tour of our Making Connecticut exhibit. Look at images and objects in the galleries to explore how technological advancements improved manufacturing and led to the development of new, Connecticut-made products.

This workshop is recommended for children ages 9-12. This workshop is $10 per student for CMCH members and $14 per student for non-members. Click here for more information and to register. For more information, please contact Katerina Mazzacane, Youth and Family Programs, at 860-236-5621 x222, or email [email protected]
