Homeschool Day Workshop: Learning the Landscape

April 28, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 10:45 am

Calling all explorers! Traverse Connecticut’s one-of-a-kind landscape through hands-on geography-based activities, including close-looking at a map of Connecticut and a nature scavenger hunt. Then, use mixed media materials to create your own quirky map of Connecticut, featuring its many unique landforms. For more fun, tune into a live, virtual workshop to investigate the many ways Connecticut’s natural resources have been used throughout history to create tools, homes, clothing, and more.

This workshop is recommended for children ages 5-8. This workshop is $10 per student for CMCH members and $14 per student for non-members. Click here for more information and to register for this workshop. For more information, please contact Katerina Mazzacane, Youth and Family Programs Manager, at 860-236-5621 x222, or email [email protected].
