Spooky Trails and Tall Tales in Connecticut

October 22, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Ready to get spooky?image of book cover featuring black and white shadowy forest

Join Dr. Stephen Olbrys Gencarella and learn where to step into history and legend in Connecticut! His new book, Spooky Trails and Tall Tales Connecticut: Hiking the State’s Legends, Hauntings, and History, traces legendary and paranormal narratives through hiking trails in the state–and tells you how to get there, too.

Dr. Gencarella is Associate Professor of Communication at UMass Amherst and lead researcher for the Myths and Legends of the Connecticut River Valley exhibit at the Connecticut River Museum.

This talk is FREE. RSVP requested so we can accommodate everyone!
