Looking for a fun activity for the whole family to do over spring break? Come to the Connecticut Historical Society and experience what life was like for kids long ago! We’ll be stepping into a different time period each day, with a different set of hands-on activities, crafts, and daily life activities for each time period. See how many of the day’s activities you can complete!
On Thursday April 14, explore the life of a kid growing up during the Industrial Revolution. See what immigrating children might have brought with them when they moved to Connecticut, try out a 19th-century factory job, and play with old-fashioned toys.
