Spring Break Vacation Program: A Day in the Life of a Native American Kid

April 12, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Looking for a fun activity for the whole family to do over spring break? Come to the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History and experience what life was like for kids long ago! We’ll be stepping into a different time period each day, with a different set of hands-on activities, crafts, and daily life activities for each time period. See how many of the day’s activities you can complete!

On Tuesday April 12, discover what growing up was like in early Native American Connecticut. Help out with a corn-grinding chore, try to “paddle” in a dugout canoe, and play a traditional Native American game.

This drop-in program is free with general admission. For more information, call (860) 236-5621 x222 or email [email protected].
