Those Were the Days: Reliving the 1940s

September 1, 2015 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This program takes a look at life in Connecticut in the 1940s. See how the world looked to a child growing up in a time when kids were free to roam. Recall when radio held center stage and big-band sound dominated music and how World War II changed everything. You’ll also learn about the amazing things revealed in the 1940 U.S. Census.

Presenters: Carol Whitmer and Dick Tomlinson, CMCH Board Members and Consulting Genealogists
