Winter Vacation Program: Cocoa, Crafts, and Connecticut Story Hour

December 28, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Curl up with some cocoa at the CMCH during winter break! Join us for an afternoon of crafts, hot cocoa, and a reading of a book by a Connecticut children’s author.

On Thursday we’ll read Connecticut native Tomie dePaola’s beloved classic Strega Nona. See what happens when Strega Nona (“grandma witch”) leaves her new helper, Big Anthony, alone with her magic pasta pot. After the story, create your own colorful pasta art to take home.

This program is great for children ages 5-8 and their families. Free with general admission. Reservations requested, please call (860) 236-5621 x222 or email [email protected].
